Medical Mutual seeks a Vice President, IT Applications & Technology Transformation to shape the company's technology future by leading enterprise modernization and large-scale transformation. You will align technology investments with business strategy and deliver platforms, core systems, data capabilities, and emerging technologies for growth.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 10 years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise technology, business transformation, platform modernization, strategic planning, and technology-enabled organizational change.
• 8 years of experience building and leading high-performing teams and managing significant technology budgets and investments.
• HealthEdge experience or comparable healthcare payer core administration platform is a plus but not required.

Job Summary:

The Vice President, IT Applications & Technology Transformation shapes the Company’s technology future by leading enterprise modernization and large-scale transformation. Partner with executive leadership to align technology investments with business strategy and deliver platforms, core systems, digital innovation, data capabilities, and emerging technologies that enable long-term growth. Set the technology roadmap and future-state architecture to meet evolving customer, provider, regulatory, and market needs.

Responsibilities:

• Establishes and executes the enterprise application and technology modernization strategy, aligning investments, priorities, and delivery roadmaps with the Company's business objectives, future operating model, and long‑term growth strategy.
• Provides executive leadership and accountability for the enterprise application portfolio and major transformation initiatives, ensuring successful delivery of strategic programs, modernization efforts, and operational improvements that meet business, financial, quality, and timeline objectives.
• Develops and maintains business and technology performance metrics to measure value, customer satisfaction, operational effectiveness, and strategic progress; uses insights to continuously improve outcomes and inform investment decisions.
• Partners with executive leadership and business stakeholders to identify opportunities, solve complex business challenges, and deliver technology solutions that enhance efficiency, customer experience, agility, and organizational performance.
• Champions and enforces cybersecurity, privacy, risk management, and regulatory compliance requirements, ensuring technology solutions are designed and operated in accordance with Company policies and industry standards.
• Provides visible enterprise leadership that promotes collaboration, accountability, innovation, and alignment across business and technology teams while fostering a high‑performing culture focused on results and continuous improvement.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Equivalent education and experience directly related to the role may substitute for a degree.
• 10 years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise technology, business transformation, platform modernization, strategic planning, and technology‑enabled organizational change.
• 8 years of experience building and leading high‑performing teams and managing significant technology budgets and investments.

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

• Advanced understanding of enterprise technology strategy, modernization, and transformational change.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, integration, data, cloud, and emerging technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to align technology investments and roadmaps with business strategy and organizational objectives.
• Proven success leading large‑scale transformation initiatives and complex cross‑functional programs.
• Adept at building, developing, and leading high‑performing teams and organizational change.
• Strong ability to influence, collaborate, and build consensus with executive and business leaders to achieve enterprise outcomes.
