Job summary

BNY Mellon is seeking a Vice President, Instruction Capture Client Event Manager, based in Lake Mary, FL. The role sits within Fund and Investor Solutions and will lead client engagements focused on fund processing, including orders and lifecycle events.

The candidate will develop standardized offering materials and documentation, advocate for scalable workflows, and collaborate with clients to optimize onboarding and operating models.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Financial Services.
• Deep expertise in Instruction Capture, Fund Accounting or related domains.
• Experience across front-to-back trade lifecycle processes.
• Experience with ETF or Mutual Fund lifecycles, NAV impact, and processing flows.
• Strong client service and fund accounting/operations background.

Responsibilities

• Represent Instruction Capture in client engagements as SME, focusing on Fund processing.
• Develop and maintain standardized Instruction Capture materials and client documentation, including due diligence content.
• Advocate for scalable, controlled, and STP-aligned workflows in client discussions and solution design.
• Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to support onboarding, event readiness, and operating model optimization.

• Represent Instruction Capture in client engagements as a subject matter expert, with a focus on Fund processing, including orders, baskets, and lifecycle events.
• Develop and maintain standardized Instruction Capture offering materials and client documentation, including due diligence content.
• Advocate for scalable, controlled, and STP-aligned workflows in client discussions and solution design.
• Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to support onboarding, event readiness, and operating model optimization.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

• 7+ years of experience in Financial Services.
• Deep expertise in Instruction Capture, Fund Accounting, or related operational and client service domains.
• Strong experience across:
  • Front-to-back trade lifecycle processes, from execution through capture, enrichment, and downstream processing.
  • ETF or Mutual Fund lifecycle, including orders, baskets, NAV impact, and processing flows.
  • Client service and fund accounting & operations.
• Demonstrated success in:
  • Client onboarding and fund lifecycle events.
  • Understanding of operational risk, controls, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Collaboration with Operations, Relationship Management, external Clients.
