BNY Mellon is seeking a Senior Specialist, Instruction Capture (Operations) for the Fund and Investor Solutions group in Lake Mary, FL. The role focuses on supporting day-to-day Instruction Capture activities, ensuring timely, accurate processing, and contributing to a risk-aware control environment.

You will review metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and drive process enhancements across equities, fixed income, derivatives, and fund lifecycles with collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

2-5+ years of experience in Financial Services Operations.
Experience in Instruction Capture, Fund Accounting, or related operational domains.
Experience across: Instruction Capture in Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives; front-to-back trade lifecycle; ETF or Mutual Fund lifecycle; reconciliation and exception management.
Demonstrated understanding of operational risk, controls, and regulatory frameworks; ability to identify inefficiencies and design improvements; capability to lead without direct management lines.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day Instruction Capture processing to ensure timely, accurate, and controlled execution.

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Instruction Capture Operations to join Fund and Investor Solutions. This role is located in Lake Mary.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

2-5+ years of experience in Financial Services Operations.
Experience in Instruction Capture, Fund Accounting, or related operational domains.
Experience across:
- Instruction Capture in Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives.
- Front-to-back trade lifecycle processes, from execution through capture, enrichment, and downstream processing.
- ETF or Mutual Fund lifecycle, including orders, baskets, NAV impact, and processing flows.
- Reconciliation, Exception Management, Root Cause Analysis.
Demonstrated success in:
- Understanding of operational risk, controls, and regulatory frameworks.
- Identification of inefficient processes and control gaps; design and implementation solutions.
- Ability to lead without having direct management lines.
