Job summary

Kingsborough Community College seeks a visionary Vice President for Institutional Advancement to lead private fundraising and external relations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred in a relevant field.
• Eight or more years of progressively responsible experience in institutional development.
• Five years of executive leadership experience in higher education, nonprofits, or corporate fundraising.
• Strong record of success in fundraising, major gifts, events, and donor stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Lead all development and fundraising activities and set strategic priorities.
• Serve as the college's chief spokesperson in fundraising and externally facing activities.
• Effectively manage unit staff and build a campus-wide culture of philanthropy.
• Develop and manage advancement outreach involving faculty, staff, alumni and volunteers.
• Collaborate with campus leaders to align fundraising with institutional priorities and campaigns.
