We are looking for a leader to enhance our IT operations and drive our Clients’ customers’ (we call them members) experience. Our business is growing and we have some very ambitious plans. We are looking for a leader who can scale up our IT services to the next level.

The job is located in or around the New Jersey area. The company intends to have a blend of onsite and remote presence for the foreseeable future. The role does involve occasional travel to clients’ locations which are located in New Jersey, Western Massachusetts, and Hudson, N.Y.

We have a hybrid model of in-house personnel and outsourced services through a third-party MSP, located in India. The VP of IT role is to lead and manage day-to-day operational aspects of the IT business unit, helping to ensure availability, scalability, and risk mitigation, under the direction of senior leadership. The VP of IT will also support the migration of new clients.

Desired background

• Thorough knowledge of hardware system, system software, networks and application software development.
• Must have excellent resource management, project planning and communication skills.
• 10 years prior management experience preferably involving multiple clients and remote teams.
• Experience with managing offshore MSPs.
• Previous financial services experience preferred.
• Proactive, service-oriented, client management skills
• Proven ability to manage remote teams.

Salary commensurate with experience with an expected range of $190,000-$210,000/annually.
