We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Indexing Portfolio Manager to join our Equity Index Portfolio Management team. This role is based in Pittsburgh, PA and this is a hybrid working position.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Managing assets independently within investment policy guidelines to achieve investment objectives.
  • Implementing investment strategies consistent with client financial goals and risk tolerance and in accordance with the investment policies/philosophies and procedures and applicable regulations.
  • Working with research, strategy team members and other members of the portfolio teams.
  • Meeting with clients and new business prospects to communicate investment strategy, discuss market performance and current market conditions.
  • Independently implementing investment strategies for more complex funds/strategies consistent with client financial goals and risk tolerance and in accordance with the investment policies/philosophies and procedures and applicable regulations.
  • Evaluating the performance of investments and make timely changes to a portfolio to meet investment objectives or allocation guidelines.
  • Analyzing and determine client's appropriate level of risk based on time, preferences, expectations, and market conditions.
  • Contributing to the team/firm profitability by assuring retention and expansion of existing client relationships by contributing to superior investment performance and client services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor‘s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of total work experience preferred and 5 years or more of investment experience preferred for MBAs or CFAs.
  • Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
  • Preferred experience with Aladdin, Bloomberg, Advanced Excel
  • Team player, attention to detail
