Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Vice President I, Workers’ Compensation for East Coast operations with telecommuter options across several states. You’ll oversee multiple offices, staffing, training, and profit-and-loss for a large team, driving client service and performance standards.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree (CPCU/ARM/AIM/AIC preferred), at least 10 years in claims management with 5+ in supervision, and strong leadership, communication and analytical skills. Travel is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; CPCU, ARM, AIM, and/or AIC certifications preferred.
  • Ten (10) years claims management experience or equivalent, including five (5) years supervisory experience.
  • Strong technical claims knowledge and leadership/motivational abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees overall operations management for multiple locations/offices within an area.
  • Establishes business plans with goals and objectives for the area and locations/offices.
  • Monitors performance through management reports and takes corrective action as needed.
  • Assists with coordination of sales and client service efforts.
  • Travels as required to support field operations and client engagements.
  • Intervenes to develop staff and ensure alignment with company policies.
