Job description

Who Are We?

At Moatable, we build and invest in technology companies that solve complex problems through AI, automation, and data. Our portfolio includes industry-leading businesses across real estate technology, logistics, transportation, and emerging AI-powered platforms. While each company serves a unique market, we're united by a shared mission: building products people love while creating an exceptional employee experience.

Description

Our people are at the center of everything we do. As we continue to scale globally, we're looking for an experienced HR executive who can help shape the next chapter of our growth by building high-performing teams, strengthening our culture, and ensuring our people practices evolve alongside the business.

What Are We Looking For?

We're looking for a strategic, business-minded Vice President of Human Resources to lead our global HR function and serve as a trusted advisor to our executive leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll be responsible for developing and executing a people strategy that enables the company to scale while preserving the entrepreneurial culture that has made us successful.

This role oversees all core HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, performance management, learning and development, payroll, compliance, immigration, and HR operations. You'll partner closely with leaders across our global portfolio to build scalable people programs, strengthen leadership capability, and ensure our employees have an exceptional experience from hire to retirement.

This is an executive leadership role for someone who enjoys operating strategically while remaining connected to the day-to-day realities of a fast-moving technology organization.

Executive Leadership & Business Partnership

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team on organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness.

  • Develop and execute a long-term people strategy aligned with Moatable's business objectives and growth plans.

  • Partner with executives to anticipate organizational needs and build scalable HR programs that support continued expansion.

  • Participate in annual business planning, budgeting, and strategic initiatives across the organization.

  • Establish and track key people metrics and HR KPIs to drive data-informed decisions.

Talent & Organizational Development

  • Lead global talent acquisition strategy for executive, leadership, and critical technical hiring.

  • Build and oversee leadership development, succession planning, and high-potential talent programs.

  • Design performance management processes that drive accountability, growth, and high performance.

  • Partner with leaders to improve organizational structure, workforce planning, and employee engagement.

  • Champion initiatives that strengthen company culture while supporting continued growth.

Compensation, Benefits & Total Rewards

  • Develop competitive compensation philosophies and total rewards programs aligned with business goals.

  • Oversee annual compensation planning, incentive programs, equity administration, and performance review cycles.

  • Lead benefits strategy, vendor management, annual renewals, and retirement plan administration.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee all HR operations including HR systems, compliance, employee records, and HR service delivery.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international employment laws and regulations.

  • Lead employment-related risk management, investigations, policy development, and employee relations.

  • Partner with legal counsel on employment matters, immigration, regulatory compliance, and organizational risk.

  • Establish scalable HR policies, processes, and operating standards across global teams while balancing regional business needs.

Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Human Resources team.

  • Build a high-performing HR organization focused on operational excellence and exceptional employee service.

  • Partner with managers across the business to strengthen leadership capability, improve decision-making, and resolve complex people challenges.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

What's the work location?

You'll be based out of our stunning, light-filled headquarters in the Warehouse District of Downtown Phoenix—a 17,000-square-foot space designed for collaboration, creativity, and connection. During onboarding and training, you'll work in-office five days a week to build momentum, meet the team and ramp up with hands‑on support. Once key KPIs and performance metrics are met, you'll transition to a hybrid schedule of four in‑office days per week—giving you the flexibility to balance focused work and in‑person collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification.

  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience, including executive-level leadership.

  • Demonstrated experience leading HR strategy in a high‑growth technology or global organization.

  • Deep expertise across compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and organizational development.

  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance.

  • Experience leading global or multi-region HR organizations.

  • Exceptional executive presence with outstanding communication and influencing skills.

  • Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to drive business decisions.
