Job description

Our client is a national real estate investment and property management corporation seeking a Human Resources leader for their growing Multi-Family Property Management Company. They believe that this role is one that aids in the growth of the business providing innovative support and structure. The HR leadership role is a key contributor to the drive of enhancing company culture and delivering on brand promise. To aid this vision and culture, you will be developing and driving the organization’s HR strategic agenda, leading various strategic HR priorities and projects in support of the enterprise HR vision to elevate the employee experience.

As the Vice President of Human Resources you will build and oversee long-term, data-driven, customer-centric HR strategies and programs that positively affect employee experience, leadership pipeline, and the company’s strategic and financial goals. Act as strategic talent advisor to the entire organization. Lead ongoing deployment of the organizations HR programs, processes, and tools across corporate and site workforces including leadership development, team and organization effectiveness, talent and succession management, performance management, and employee engagement utilizing current technology and delivery methods.

Current number of direct reports is 3-4.

Qualifications :

  • 10+ years of progressive HR, operations and / or consulting experience leading teams in multiple states.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR management, business administration, or equivalent experience. Advanced degree / MBA preferred.
  • 2+ years of Industry experience in Multi-Family Housing or Real Estate working across multiple states in mid-sized companies preferred
  • 5+ years managing payroll personnel
  • 5+ years of experience working with benefits programs and have a demonstrated ability to respond as an employee advocate
  • 5+ years of working knowledge of the EEOC mechanics and the ability to respond to an EEOC First Inquiry of Information
  • Track record of delivering successful strategies, plans, and programs based on competitive analysis, industry trends, and best practices, emerging technologies, and the company’s vision.
  • Strong executive presence and gravitas with a proven ability to influence and interact with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of HR compliance and regulatory compliance – Both Federal and local.
  • Excellent verbal, written, storytelling, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills, including comprehension, effective listening, and negotiating skills.
