Cory Executive Recruiting is seeking a Vice President of People Operations for a Louisville, KY real estate/multifamily client. This on-site leadership role partners with the Chief People Officer to shape people strategy and lead HR operations across a multi-state footprint.

• 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Expertise in employee relations, employment law, performance management, and HR operations.
• Experience leading Benefits and Payroll functions.
• Multi-state compliance and multi-site or hourly workforce experience preferred.
• Real estate, hospitality, healthcare, or multi-unit retail backgrounds welcome.
• Proven ability to partner with and influence executive leadership.
• SHRM-SCP or SPHR or equivalent preferred.
• On-site in Louisville, KY, Monday–Friday.

Exciting Opportunity: Vice President of People Operations | Real Estate / Multifamily

Location: Louisville, KY (On-site, Monday–Friday)

CORY is hiring a Vice President of People Operations with a strong background in multi-state HR leadership. This is an incredible opportunity for a strategic, operationally strong HR executive looking to take their career to the next level with a growing real estate organization.

Your Responsibilities as a Leader:

• Partner with the Chief People Officer to carry out the People strategy and company-wide initiatives
• Lead core HR operations: employee relations, HR business partnership, performance management, policy, investigations, and compliance
• Coach and advise leaders on employee relations, performance, conflict resolution, and change management
• Lead and develop the Benefits and Payroll teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and a strong employee experience
• Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local employment law across a multi-state footprint
• Lead complex employee relations matters and workplace investigations with discretion and sound judgment
• Improve HR processes, systems, and service delivery to support growth

The Skills & Experience You Possess:

• 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including broad generalist responsibility
• Deep expertise in employee relations, employment law, performance management, and HR operations
• Experience leading Benefits and Payroll functions
• Multi-state compliance and multi-site or hourly-workforce experience strongly preferred
• Real estate, hospitality, healthcare, or multi-unit retail backgrounds welcome
• Proven ability to partner with and influence executive leadership
• SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work on-site in Louisville, KY, Monday–Friday
