We are partnering with an established, publicly traded manufacturing and distribution organization with over $1 billion in annual revenue and operations across the United States.

The company is seeking an experienced Head of Human Resources to lead and strengthen its HR function, develop a more strategic talent acquisition approach, and serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the HR function, including employee relations, talent acquisition, benefits, compliance, HR systems, and organizational development.
• Develop and strengthen an existing HR team, establishing clear structure, accountability, and measurable results.
• Build a scalable recruiting strategy to support corporate, manufacturing, and distribution operations nationwide.
• Establish HR metrics, workforce planning initiatives, succession planning, and talent development programs.
• Evaluate existing HR policies and introduce thoughtful improvements that support employee engagement and retention.
• Partner directly with executive leadership on organizational strategy, workforce needs, and employee relations.
• Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization, positioning HR as a trusted business partner.
• Drive continuous improvement while respecting the organization's established culture and values.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant senior leadership responsibility.
• Proven success building, expanding, or improving an HR department.
• Strong talent acquisition leadership and employee relations experience.
• Experience supporting multi-location or multi-state operations.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
• Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred but not required.
• Experience partnering directly with executive leadership.
• Approachable, collaborative leadership style with strong relationship-building skills.

Compensation

• Base salary targeting $300,000.
