Fulchester Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a confidential U.S.-based client for a Vice President, Growth Strategy.
This is a senior, client-facing strategy role for a commercially minded leader who can help organisations clarify growth priorities, improve performance, strengthen customer engagement, and translate strategic ambition into practical execution.
You will work closely with senior business leaders, commercial stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to identify high-value opportunities, lead structured strategic discussions, develop actionable roadmaps, and support the responsible use of AI-enabled workflows where they can create genuine business value.
The role is designed for someone who combines strategic judgement, commercial awareness, stakeholder leadership, workshop facilitation, and the ability to move complex initiatives from discussion to focused action.
The Opportunity
Growth-focused organisations often have ambitious commercial and customer objectives but face fragmented priorities, inconsistent execution, unclear performance signals, or uncertainty about where AI can be applied responsibly.
As Vice President, Growth Strategy, you will help stakeholders move from broad ambition to practical priorities. You will facilitate alignment, identify opportunities for performance improvement, develop clear recommendations, and support implementation-oriented plans that connect strategy to measurable progress.
What You’ll Be Trusted To Do
- Lead client-facing growth-strategy engagements from discovery through recommendations, roadmaps, and implementation planning.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to understand commercial priorities, customer challenges, operating realities, and opportunities for measurable improvement.
- Design and facilitate executive workshops, discovery sessions, planning meetings, and strategic working sessions that turn complex discussions into clear decisions and accountable next steps.
- Assess relevant growth drivers, customer engagement opportunities, operating workflows, and performance indicators.
- Develop practical growth strategies, strategic frameworks, action plans, and success measures aligned with client context.
- Identify and evaluate responsible AI-enabled workflow opportunities that may support customer insight, planning, decision-making, content development, operations, and team productivity.
- Translate strategic, commercial, data, and technology considerations into clear executive-ready recommendations.
- Support client teams as they apply agreed initiatives, monitor progress, and refine priorities using stakeholder feedback and relevant performance information.
- Promote responsible AI practice by considering business value, data privacy, confidentiality, quality controls, brand standards, human oversight, and applicable client policies.
- Build trusted relationships across senior leadership, commercial teams, operational functions, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
What Success Looks Like
- Senior stakeholders have a clear, prioritised growth agenda and practical execution roadmap.
- Workshops lead to stronger alignment, faster decisions, accountable owners, and well-defined next steps.
- Growth and performance-improvement opportunities are translated into credible, usable recommendations.
- Responsible AI opportunities are assessed against business value, feasibility, operational relevance, and appropriate governance.
- Client teams improve how they use customer insight, performance data, and AI-enabled workflows to support growth.
- Strategic initiatives are connected to measurable customer, commercial, and operational outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a strategic, commercially minded professional who can work credibly with senior stakeholders and bring structure to complex business challenges.
You will bring:
- 10 years of relevant experience in growth strategy, commercial strategy, business strategy, management consulting, transformation, performance improvement, customer strategy, or a related client-facing discipline.
- Demonstrated experience leading strategic engagements, advisory workstreams, transformation initiatives, or performance-improvement programmes.
- Experience facilitating senior-level workshops, discovery sessions, planning discussions, and executive presentations.
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to link strategic priorities to customer, operational, and financial outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, including the ability to interpret relevant performance data, customer insight, and business context.
- Experience developing roadmaps, strategic recommendations, business cases, operating plans, or implementation frameworks.
- Practical understanding of AI, generative AI, automation, or AI-enabled workflows, with sound judgement regarding responsible adoption.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to make complex concepts clear and actionable for different audiences.
- The ability to work effectively in a remote environment and travel as required for client engagement.
Experience That Would Be Especially Valuable

- Management consulting, business consulting, client advisory, or agency strategy
- Commercial transformation, business transformation, operating-model improvement, or change management
- Go-to-market strategy, market analysis, business development, or commercial planning
