Position Summary

The Vice President, Global Supply Chain leads EVgo's end-to-end supply chain organization, spanning demand and supply planning, strategic sourcing, procurement, and logistics and inventory operations. This role sets the strategy and operating model that connect supplier markets, inventory positioning, and distribution networks to EVgo's charging infrastructure deployment and commercial goals. It partners across engineering, construction, finance, sales, and operations to translate business demand into reliable, cost-effective supply outcomes, and builds the systems, forecasting discipline, and supplier relationships that let the network scale. The role also safeguards supply continuity and cost performance against market, supplier, and logistics risk, and represents EVgo's supply chain interests with vendors, partners, and industry counterparts.

Responsibilities
Supply Chain Strategy & Leadership
  • Define and continuously evolve EVgo's global supply chain strategy, including make/buy decisions and total-cost-to-serve tradeoffs, in support of company growth and deployment targets.
  • Set the operating model and governance for the supply chain function, aligning demand planning, sourcing, procurement, and logistics around shared goals, metrics, and decision rights.
  • Present supply chain strategy, performance, and risk to executive leadership, translating operational results into business-level implications and recommendations.
  • Represent EVgo's supply chain organization with external partners, industry groups, and strategic vendors to advance the company's supply chain interests.
Demand & Supply Planning
  • Own the company's integrated demand and supply planning function, including forecasting methodology, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.
  • Direct the development of statistical and analytical forecasting models that translate historical demand, market trends, and business inputs into actionable supply and inventory plans.
  • Establish and monitor forecast accuracy, inventory investment, and service-level metrics, and drive corrective action when performance diverges from plan.
  • Align planning outputs with financial budgets, capital planning, and product launch timelines in partnership with Finance and Engineering stakeholders.
Sourcing & Procurement
  • Set sourcing strategy for key categories and supplier segments, balancing cost, quality, resilience, and scalability to support deployment and cost-reduction targets.
  • Oversee procurement operations, including purchase order issuance, supplier quoting, and pricing and delivery negotiations, ensuring goods and services are secured on schedule and within budget.
  • Guide supplier relationship management and performance governance, including business reviews, scorecards, and escalation of systemic supplier issues.
  • Partner with Legal and Finance on commercial terms, contract structures, and supplier risk mitigation for strategic sourcing and procurement agreements.
Logistics & Inventory Operations
  • Direct EVgo's logistics network, including distribution, warehousing, and transportation, to ensure reliable, on-time flow of materials and equipment to deployment and field-service teams.
  • Own enterprise inventory strategy, including stocking policy, safety-stock and buffer positioning, and inventory investment tradeoffs across the network.
  • Drive continuous improvement and automation across logistics and inventory processes to improve service levels, reduce cost, and scale operations with company growth.
  • Monitor and mitigate supply chain risk, including component shortages, supplier disruption, and logistics constraints, developing contingency and continuity plans for critical categories and lanes.
  • Organizational Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership:
  • Build, lead, and develop the supply chain leadership team, establishing goals, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement across the function.
  • Partner with Engineering, Construction, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align supply chain capacity and priorities with company-wide plans and commitments.
  • Own the supply chain function's budget and operating performance, balancing cost, service, and quality objectives against financial targets.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned to support team and organizational objectives.
People Management Responsibilities
  • Leads the supply chain organization, setting direction and accountability across demand and supply planning, strategic sourcing, procurement, and logistics.
  • Sets the function's talent strategy, including organizational design, hiring priorities, and succession planning for key leadership roles.
  • Establishes performance expectations and conducts regular business and talent reviews with direct reports, holding the leadership team accountable to shared goals.
  • Coaches and develops supply chain leaders, building bench strength and supporting career growth across the function.
Qualifications
