Reporting directly to executive leadership, this individual will be responsible for the overall performance of the Washington DC Business Unit, including operations, business development, client engagement, talent development, financial performance, and strategic growth initiatives.
Unlike many large construction organizations where operational leaders have limited influence over broader business decisions, this role offers meaningful autonomy, decision‑making authority, and direct responsibility for business performance.

The ideal candidate may currently be operating within a large construction, engineering, infrastructure, or design‑build organization and seeking an opportunity to move beyond project leadership into a role with greater influence over strategy, talent development, operations, client engagement, and business performance.
This position provides the opportunity to lead a business unit rather than simply manage projects.
The successful candidate will step into a well‑established operation supported by experienced Project Managers, Project Engineers, Preconstruction professionals, Safety personnel, regional support staff, and executive leadership.

The Washington, DC market represents one of the company’s most important strategic growth initiatives and offers significant opportunities across water, wastewater, utility, rehabilitation, and alternative delivery programs.

$250,000 – $300,000+
Compensation will be commensurate with experience, leadership background, market relationships, operational expertise, and demonstrated success leading large‑scale construction operations.
In addition to base salary, the successful candidate will be eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation tied to business performance and strategic objectives.
