Job summary

Worky is seeking a skilled software engineer in Pittsburgh to design and deliver scalable backend services using Java (17+/21) and Spring Boot within a microservices architecture.

You will collaborate with frontend teams (Angular or React), deploy on Microsoft Azure with AKS, and implement containerized solutions. Candidates should demonstrate practical use of AI-assisted development tools, including AI-generated code, automated tests, and AI-assisted debugging within the workflow.

Qualifications

• Experience with backend technologies Java (17+/21), Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Frontend experience with Angular or React is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, AKS, and container orchestration.
• Experience with data streaming platforms like Kafka.
• Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools within engineering workflows (AI-assisted code generation, automated tests, AI-assisted debugging).
