Job summary

Remote VP of Financial Planning & Analysis will own enterprise FP&A across complex operations, driving clarity in planning, forecasting, and performance management. The role partners with executive leaders to translate results into insights supporting growth and accountability.

You will strengthen financial discipline across divisions and ensure leadership has the reporting and analysis needed to guide the business. Location is remote with US scope.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
12+ years of progressive finance experience including FP&A or enterprise financial management.
Experience managing integrated forecasts and P&Ls across multiple divisions or complex programs.
Strong command of financial modeling, variance analysis, and executive reporting.
Excellent judgment and communication skills for advising senior leaders.
Advanced spreadsheet skills and experience with ERP or business intelligence systems.

Responsibilities

Lead annual operating plans and forecasting across the organization.
Advise Division General Managers on P&L insights and investments.
Collaborate with executives to enhance financial accountability and address performance gaps.
Analyze contract and program profitability across key financial parameters.
Present financial reports and recommendations to executive leadership.
Develop reliable financial models and KPIs to improve decision-making.
Partner with senior leadership to align performance with compensation strategies.

For our client, we are seeking a Vice President - Financial Planning & Analysis to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space.

This senior finance leader will own enterprise FP&A across complex operations, driving clarity in planning, forecasting, and performance management. The role partners closely with executive leaders to translate financial results into actionable insights that support growth, investment decisions, and accountability. You will also help strengthen financial discipline across divisions and ensure leadership has the reporting and analysis needed to guide the business.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $200,000 – $275,000 annually

Responsibilities

Lead annual operating plans and forecasting, integrating financial assumptions across the organization
Advise Division General Managers on P&L insights and decision-making related to growth and investments
Collaborate with executive leadership to enhance financial accountability and address performance gaps
