Job summary

Forrer Group, Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Strategic Finance to partner with the CEO on FP&A, strategy and M&A. You will own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning while scaling the finance organization.

You will lead GTM finance, optimize unit economics, support fundraising, and oversee finance technology implementations to drive hyper growth with disciplined capital allocation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive Finance experience in fast-paced environments.
• Experience in investment banking, management consulting or PE/VC is highly attractive.
• Experience supporting fundraising and investor due diligence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO on all finance matters to sustain hyper growth.
• Own annual budget, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning.
• Improve forecasting processes and financial rigor as the company scales.
• Build and mentor the finance and accounting team and scale hiring.
• Serve as the GTM finance partner to Sales/Marketing/RevOps, analyze CAC, LTV, margins.
• Lead ERP and billing system implementations and optimize finance tech stack.
• Prepare board and investor materials and manage headcount spend.

Our client, a venture capital backed hyper growth technology company seeks to hire a Vice President of Strategic Finance to serve as a strategic partner to the CEO regarding all finance matters - FP&A, Strategy, GTM, M&A etc.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO on all finance matters to ensure that the company maintains a hyper growth rate in a strategic, controlled manner.
• Own annual budget, rolling and revenue forecasts, long-range financial planning, pipeline analytics, and quota capacity models.
• Improve forecasting processes, tools, and financial rigor as the company scales.
• Build out finance and accounting team as the company scales, provide mentorship, build organizational capabilities, and help shape future hiring and team structure.
• Go-To-Market (GTM) Finance - Serve as the finance business partner to Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and RevOps. Analyze and optimize unit economics (CAC, LTV, payback period, gross margin, retention). Support ROI analysis for growth initiatives and market expansion
• Lead high-impact initiatives, including ERP and billing system implementations, optimization of the company’s finance technology stack, and support for fundraising, investor diligence, and other strategic transactions.
• Prepare Board and investor materials
• Partner with department leaders on headcount planning and spend management.
• Support pricing, packaging, and deal economics.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of progressive Finance experience - Prior experience in investment banking, management consulting or PE/VC is highly attractive
• Experience working in an earlier stage company is preferred with a proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments.
• A strategic mindset with a passion for continuous improvement, process optimization, and organizational scale.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across remote and hybrid teams.
• Experience supporting fundraising efforts, investor due diligence, and strategic financing activities.
