Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Vice President, Energy Advisory Sales responsible for supporting the growth of our EA Practice through client interaction, thought leadership, business development, and more. You will support the team's revenue targets and work with Fortune 500 clients across the US, understanding our process and energy needs from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a business plan to grow a sustainable and profitable US-based energy advisory business in partnership with the Head of Energy Advisory & Sustainability | NAM.
  2. Business Development: Originate large energy advisory deals and transaction opportunities using your network and JLL's existing client base.
  3. Industry Expertise: Build and maintain relationships with industry developers, operators, and investors; provide strategic advice based on market conditions.
  4. Client Solutions: Coordinate with clients to develop solutions for energy sourcing, onsite performance improvements, and asset optimization.
  5. Technology and Solutions: Understand and leverage technologies that provide energy, emissions, water reductions, or cost savings across various asset classes.
  6. Leadership and Growth: Lead sales initiatives, drive revenue streams in infrastructure and renewables, and expand client relationships.
  7. Transaction & Funding: Originate M&A and financial advisory opportunities; understand infrastructure financing and funding sources.
  8. Innovation and Industry Presence: Develop innovative service ideas, leverage ESG practices, and participate in industry events and communities.

  • Established US network and recognized leadership in infrastructure and renewables sectors.

Ideal Experience
  • 15+ years in energy & infrastructure, with exposure to strategic and financial advisory, across sectors like data centers, industrial, logistics, and life sciences.
  • Proven sales success in the US energy and infrastructure sectors.
  • Experience with multi-million-dollar deals and real estate advisory.
Compensation & Location

Estimated total compensation: $215,000 - $275,000 annually. Location options include remote work in Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Los Angeles, CA; New York, NY; San Diego, CA; Washington, DC. Compensation is estimated and based on various factors.
