Position Summary

The Vice President, eCommerce is a critical enterprise leadership role responsible for defining and executing TERREPOWER's North America eCommerce strategy. This executive will establish eCommerce as a true competitive differentiator for TERREPOWER- building the pricing discipline, channel governance, digital capability, and organizational alignment necessary to grow profitably across 1P, 3P, and marketplace models, without cannibalizing existing retail partnerships. Equally, this leader will bring commercial rigor, strategic insight, and cross-functional influence to accelerate revenue growth and market penetration across emerging growth businesses. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role requiring a leader with strong commercial instincts, executive presence, and the demonstrated ability to drive alignment across a complex, decentralized organization.

What You’ll Do
  • Define and lead TERREPOWER’s North America eCommerce strategy, aligned with enterprise commercial priorities and Business Unit growth plans.
  • Establish eCommerce as a scalable, revenue-generating capability that drives customer acquisition, margin expansion, and long-term channel equity.
  • Build and enforce e-commerce pricing discipline across relationships, deploying a dynamic pricing strategy that continuously monitors competitive retail and online pricing without establishing market-low price points that erode brand value.
  • Lead channel segmentation strategy, defining clear and differentiated roles for retail, eCommerce, and marketplace channels to minimize conflict and maximize total channel revenue.
  • Develop sub-branding strategy including exclusive assortments tailored for online marketplaces and evaluate and implement non-branded fulfillment models where appropriate.
  • Establish KPIs, reporting dashboards, and governance cadences that provide full performance visibility across eCommerce channels.
  • Design scalable frameworks, playbooks, and operating models that equip Business Units to activate and grow eCommerce channels independently and with consistency.
  • Leverage external partners, platforms, and technology to accelerate capability development and close the gap against digital-native competitors.
  • Build a data-driven operating culture within the eCommerce function with clear performance metrics, attribution models, and continuous improvement feedback loops.
  • Serve as an enterprise resource and center of excellence, coaching BU leadership on digital commerce best practices and helping translate commercial strategy into executable plans.
  • Champion a demand creation philosophy across eCommerce and emerging growth platforms.
  • Direct investment toward content strategy, educational assets ("e.g., DIY installation"), and performance media that expand category reach with new buyer segments.
  • Partner with marketing to ensure differentiated digital content and product value communication supports premium brand positioning across all online channels.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 15+ years of progressive commercial or P&L leadership experience, with increasing scope and executive responsibility.
  • Senior commercial leadership experience in a P&L or general management environment, with demonstrated accountability for revenue growth and margin outcomes.
  • Proven track record scaling eCommerce or digital commerce channels within complex, multi-business-unit organizations.
  • Experience navigating and optimizing multi-channel environments - balancing 1P, 3P, and retail partnerships while protecting channel integrity.
  • Meaningful experience with multi-channel eCommerce strategy, including 1P and 3P marketplace models and channel segmentation.
  • Demonstrated success driving growth initiatives across multiple business units in a matrixed or decentralized organization.
  • Executive stakeholder management experience, including Board-level and C-suite engagement.
  • Commercial excellence - sophisticated pricing and portfolio strategy instincts; proven ability to balance growth, margin, and channel conflict trade-offs in complex multi-channel environments.
  • Strategic leadership - ability to see around corners, translate market dynamics into actionable commercial strategy, and build organizational conviction around a clear point of view.
  • Cross-functional influence - track record of driving alignment and results across business units and functions without direct ownership.
  • eCommerce & digital fluency - deep working knowledge of 1P/3P marketplace models, digital shelf dynamics, channel pricing mechanics, and online demand generation.
  • Executive communication - ability to communicate with clarity and authority at the Board and C-suite level, translating strategic intent into operational direction.
  • Analytical rigor - data-driven decision-maker who builds performance measurement systems and uses insights to drive continuous improvement.
Nice-to-haves
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • Background in industrial manufacturing, aftermarket, distribution, or adjacent sectors strongly preferred.
  • Industrial manufacturing, aftermarket, distribution, or circular economy sector experience preferred.

About Us

For over 35 years, TERREPOWER (formerly BBB Industries) has been a leader in sustainable manufacturing, driving the circular economy by extending the life of essential products in the automotive and industrial markets.

Founded in 1987 in Daphne, Alabama by the Bigler family, TERREPOWER began as a small regional remanufacturer of starters and alternators. Our commitment to quality and innovation quickly earned us a reputation as a trusted name in the automotive industry.

Recognizing new challenges and opportunities, in 2019 we set our sights on EV battery upcycling-addressing one of the industry’s most pressing issues. Our engineering team pioneered solutions to extend EV battery life, pushing the boundaries of sustainable innovation.

Recognizing that demand for solar panels would exceed availability and 100,000 tons of waste would potentially go into landfills by 2035, our team searched for an innovative way to upcycle solar panels. With an eye on the future, we developed ways to upcycle solar panels.

Rooted in family and community values, we are proud to have second-generation employees contributing to our legacy. Backed by Clearlake Capital, we have expanded our footprint into Europe with facilities in Spain, Italy, Denmark, Germany and Poland. We now sustainably manufacture and supply an assortment of nondiscretionary repair parts across more than 90 countries.

As we move forward under the TERREPOWER name, we remain committed to the same values that have always defined us: entrepreneurship, teamwork, customer-centered, sustainability, safety.

Why Join Us?

When you join our team, you become part of a company that is redefining how essential products are made, reused and repurposed to reduce waste and maximize resources.

Here’s What Sets Us Apart
  • Purpose-Driven Work - Every day, your work will contribute to extending the useful life of essential products, keeping vehicles on the road and critical systems running.
  • Innovative Mindset - We encourage creative problem-solving and bold ideas to push the boundaries of what is possible.
