Job summary

The Vice President, DevEx (Developer Experience) role within the CTO, Software team is responsible for maximizing AI-enabled developer productivity, efficiency, and satisfaction by reducing friction across the software development lifecycle for thousands of developers building HP products' software and platform technology stacks. This newly established organization will deliver capabilities that make it easier, faster, safer, and more consistent for engineers to build, test, release, and operate software at scale. This role is critical to advancing HP's software-led business transformation by accelerating product velocity, enabling new digital business models, and amplifying the impact of shared engineering capabilities across the company. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer of Software, this leader will serve as a trusted partner to engineering executives across HP. • Deliver DevEx as a product to thousands of software engineers within the CTO, Software organization as internal customers, and lead the shift from manual coding to AI-enabled design, verification, and orchestration of intelligent, automated workflows—driving step-function improvements in code quality and developer productivity while materially reducing toil and cognitive load.
