Job summary

The University of Arizona Foundation seeks an Associate Vice President for Development in Tucson, AZ. This senior fund-raising leader will develop and execute major gift strategies, cultivate high-level donors, and guide multiple college/unit fundraising programs to meet ambitious revenue targets.

You will manage a portfolio of prospects, collaborate with university leadership, and drive donor engagement, stewardship, and fundraising initiatives across campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of experience in major gift fundraising.
• Demonstrated leadership in planning, executing, and closing major and principal gift solicitations.
• Ability to drive/attend meetings throughout Arizona and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate major-gift fundraising strategies for multiple colleges/units.
• Build and manage a portfolio of 20–25 qualified prospects.
• Achieve annual metrics: 100+ donor visits and 20+ proposals per year.
