Job summary

The University of Arizona Foundation seeks an Associate Vice President for Development to lead major gift fundraising across campuses and units. You will partner with deans, unit directors, faculty, and senior leaders to achieve ambitious goals and grow philanthropic support.

You will build a portfolio of 20–25 prospects, guide a team of development professionals, and coordinate with PAE and UA Foundation colleagues to convert initiatives into donor gifts, including large gifts of $1M+.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 9+ years in major gift fundraising.
• Proven track record securing gifts of $1M+.
• Willingness to travel across Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement major gift strategies across campus colleges/units.
• Manage a 20–25 prospect portfolio; cultivate and solicit donors.
• Lead and mentor development professionals; conduct performance planning.
• Meet annual metrics and drive significant revenue targets.
