The Vice President of Decision Sciences is responsible for defining and executing BI WORLDWIDE's analytics and data intelligence strategy. This leader oversees a high-performing team of analysts, data scientists, and decision science professionals who transform data into actionable insights that drive measurable business outcomes for clients and internal stakeholders.

As the senior leader of the Decision Sciences function, the VP is accountable for departmental financial performance, strategic growth, operational excellence, innovation, and talent development. The role partners closely with Client Services, Sales, Product Development, Technology, and Implementation teams to deliver data-driven solutions that enhance program effectiveness, improve client outcomes, and strengthen BIW's competitive position in the marketplace. This position serves as both a strategic advisor and business leader, helping clients navigate increasingly complex business challenges through advanced analytics, AI-enabled solutions, predictive modeling, and compelling data storytelling. Domestic travel to client locations and BIW offices is required.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Business Growth

• Develop and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Decision Sciences practice.
• Drive innovation through the application of advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and emerging technologies.
• Partner with Sales, Client Services, and business leaders to develop analytics-driven solutions that create measurable value for clients.
• Identify new opportunities to expand Decision Sciences capabilities, increase revenue, and improve BIW's market differentiation.
• Serve as an executive thought leader, representing BIW with clients, prospects, and industry audiences.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top analytics talent while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

Client Impact & Analytics Excellence

• Lead the development of analytical frameworks, methodologies, and best practices that deliver actionable business insights.
• Ensure the team provides consultative recommendations that help clients answer critical business questions and make informed decisions.
• Advance the use of predictive, prescriptive, and diagnostic analytics to improve program performance and business outcomes.
• Champion the effective use of quantitative and qualitative data sources to generate meaningful insights.
• Elevate data storytelling by transforming complex analyses into impactful, executive-level presentations and recommendations.

Financial & Operational Leadership

• Own and manage the department's financial performance, including P&L accountability, resource planning, and approved capital expenditures.
• Establish operational priorities, performance metrics, and governance processes to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance scalability, service delivery, and profitability.
• Lead service recovery efforts and executive-level issue resolution when required.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Partner effectively with Technology, Product, Operations, Client Services, Sales, and Executive Leadership teams.
• Lead enterprise initiatives and corporate priorities as assigned.
• Influence strategic decision-making across BIW through data-driven insights and business recommendations.
• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and internal teams to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in analytics, consulting, data science, business intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated success leading high-performing teams and developing future leaders.
• Strong financial acumen, including budget management, forecasting, and P&L responsibility.
• Experience leveraging advanced analytics, statistical methodologies, and AI-enabled solutions to solve business problems.
• Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Strong client management and consultative leadership skills.

Preferred

• Advanced degree in a related discipline.
• Experience leading analytics organizations within a consulting, agency, technology, marketing, employee engagement, or incentives environment.
• Working knowledge of BI WORLDWIDE products, services, and client solutions.
• Experience with modern analytics platforms, data visualization tools, AI technologies, and cloud-based data ecosystems.

Base Salary Range: $175,000.00 to $200,000.00. The final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, and skills.
