Job summary

J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management is seeking a seasoned professional to join the Defined Contribution Consulting team.

You will educate Advisors about the DC Consulting Program, promote adoption, and manage the transition from proposal to close while supporting post-sale implementation and ongoing monitoring. The role requires deep retirement plan knowledge, familiarity with fiduciary activities, and the ability to deliver tailored proposals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct experience supporting retirement plan sales and servicing.
• Experience delivering client presentations.
• Ability to anticipate plan sponsor and client needs.
• Detailed understanding of 401(k) and defined benefit plan service providers (e.g., actuaries, recordkeeping platforms, TPAs, etc.).
• General financial industry experience, preferably within wealth management, private banking, or brokerage firms
• Specific knowledge of investment products (e.g., mutual funds, CITs, separate accounts)
• Understanding of ERISA, DOL regulations, and current industry trends
• Self-starter; detail-oriented and organized; strong decision-making skills; and ability to multitask effectively
• Ability to work remotely at times and maintain a high level of productivity under pressure within a supportive team environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Strong analytical skills
• FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage retirement plan RFPs and proposals.
• Deliver client presentations in coordination with Financial Advisors.
• Support advisor business and marketing plans and day-to-day sales efforts.
• Identify and cultivate a network of specialist retirement plan advisors in the territory.
• Conduct prospect research and evaluation, review proposals with advisor teams.
• Travel to assigned branches at least quarterly as required.
