Role Overview

We are seeking a Vice President, Data Management & Quantitative Analysis I based in New York City, NY. Hybrid work arrangements are available.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work independently with internal and client reference data on strategic, complex projects involving data support or process automation.
  2. Master internal software and processes for developing robotics solutions for operations.
  3. Provide analytical project management support within your area.
  4. Support complex data analyses with minimal guidance.
  5. Contribute to developing techniques and methodologies for various activities and analyses.
  6. Lead data modeling and quantitative analysis projects, mentoring less experienced colleagues.
  7. Utilize technology tools like SQL, Python (Pandas), and others for data extraction and analysis.
  8. Develop models using techniques such as SQL queries and macros; perform light programming or system configuration as needed.
  9. Understand relevant processes and products, selecting appropriate analyses and methodologies.
  10. Interpret findings, prepare reports, and present results to management or other leaders.
  11. Provide recommendations based on analysis outcomes.
  12. Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  13. Review the work of junior team members for accuracy and quality.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in quantitative finance and technology.
