Daniel J. Edelman Holdings is seeking a Vice President for the Global Crisis & Reputation Risk practice based in Chicago.

You will counsel clients in the food & beverage sector and other industries on complex crises, build the practice’s client roster, and develop new crisis offerings and capabilities to drive growth. You will lead senior client accounts with an emphasis on risk mitigation and crisis response.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of crisis management experience and experience running integrated account work.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule with 3 days a week in the Chicago office or on site with clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Responsabilités

• Play an active role in strategically driving and developing crisis account work.
• Lead operational and financial performance of account teams, ensuring quality work and timely client requests.
• Counsel clients based on business goals and act on client feedback.
• Work with clients to develop communications plans and materials.
• Oversee junior staff with clear feedback and career development.
• Lead new business development efforts within Edelman’s global network for food & bev offerings.
• Demonstrate advanced writing skills and supervise others’ writing.
• Set and lead traditional and social strategic media relations courses.
• Manage billing and budgets.
