WSP USA is seeking a Vice President, Construction Scheduler to join our Project Controls team in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will lead CPM scheduling using Primavera for large rail transit programs, develop integrated schedules, and provide schedule risk assessments.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management and 12+ years of experience in major projects, with tunneling/metro experience and strong reporting, EVM, and change order analysis skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related discipline (or equivalent scheduling experience)
• 12+ years of constructing and managing schedules for large programs
• Experience with tunneling and metro/transit infrastructure projects
• Proficient in CPM analysis with Primavera and schedule risk assessments
• Strong project reporting, change control and forecasting skills

Responsibilities

• Provide expert CPM scheduling using Primavera for client programs including design and construction rail transit projects
• Develop integrated program schedules from multiple stakeholders (designer, contractor, third parties)
• Assess schedule changes or delays and advise project team and executives
• Coordinate with project teams to produce accurate forecasts and risk reports
• Develop, update and analyze detailed execution schedules for multiple projects
• Establish baselines with durations, logic, resources and costs
• Review CPM updates and produce schedule comparison reports
• Perform Earned Value analysis and change management reviews
• Conduct time impact analyses to quantify delays and recovery strategies
• Provide schedule recovery recommendations and what-if scenario analyses

WSP is seeking a Vice President, Construction Scheduler to join our Project Controls team in the San Francisco bay area.

Your Impact

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide expert Providing and/or overseeing critical path method scheduling (via Primavera) to support client’s Program including design and construction rail transit projects.
• Developing integrated program schedules based on input from the various entities including designer, contractor, third party etc.
• Assess and provide recommendations to resolve schedule, scope changes or delays to the project team and executive management.
• Coordination with project teams to assess reporting and identify risk and create accurate forecasts.
• Responsible for developing, updating, and analyzing detailed execution schedules for simultaneous projects
• Establish baseline schedule: summary and detailed review of baseline durations, logic, resources, costs, cost curves, resource histograms.
• Review periodic CPM Updates, provide Primavera schedule comparison reports and detailed reviews.
• Perform Earned Value analysis reports, schedule change management and review of change orders.
• Perform time impact analyses (TIA) to determine the extent of the impacts of potential delays.
• Provide recommendations for schedule recovery. Recovery schedule reviews and perform what-if scenario analysis.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related discipline or equivalent years of construction scheduling experience.
• 12 years of experience in developing and managing construction schedules for large programs.
• Experience with large-scale tunneling and metro/transit infrastructure projects, including underground construction, station development, and rail systems
• Experienced with critical path method analysis/technique with Primavera.
• Project financial forecasting skills.
• Change Order Analysis, Time Impact Analysis, and Forensic Schedule Analysis.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working within large and challenging Client Programs with one or more project teams.
• Effective reporting and communication skills.
• Experience in preparing project reports and documentation.
• Building Construction and or project management experience
• Team player and Strong communication skills

Compensation

Expected Salary (all locations): $230,750-$290,080/year

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
