Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Vice President, Construction Scheduler to join our Project Controls team in the Southeast US. The role leads CPM scheduling for large rail transit programs, developing integrated schedules and coordinating with designers, contractors, and third parties.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 12+ years of experience with Primavera CPM, earned value, and change analyses, driving schedule recovery and risk forecasting across multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related discipline or equivalent construction scheduling experience.
• 12+ years of experience developing and managing schedules for large programs.
• Experience with CPM analysis using Primavera.
• Strong project financial forecasting skills.
• Experience with Change Order Analysis, Time Impact Analysis and forensic schedule analysis.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams on large client programs.
• Proven ability to report and document project progress clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide or oversee critical path method scheduling via Primavera for rail transit programs.
• Develop integrated schedules from designers, contractors, and third parties.
• Assess schedule changes or delays and advise project team and executives.
• Coordinate with project teams to assess reporting, risks, and forecasts.
• Develop, update and analyze detailed execution schedules for multiple projects.
• Establish baseline schedules with durations, logic, resources and costs.
• Review CPM updates and provide schedule comparison reports.
• Perform Earned Value analyses and change management reviews.
• Conduct time impact analyses to quantify delays’ effects.
• Recommend schedule recovery options and perform what-if analyses.

This Opportunity

WSP is seeking a Vice President, Construction Scheduler to join our Project Controls team in the Southeast US.

Your Impact

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide expert Providing and/or overseeing critical path method scheduling (via Primavera) to support client’s Program including design and construction rail transit projects.
• Developing integrated program schedules based on input from the various entities including designer, contractor, third party etc.
• Assess and provide recommendations to resolve schedule, scope changes or delays to the project team and executive management.
• Coordination with project teams to assess reporting and identify risk and create accurate forecasts.
• Responsible for developing, updating, and analyzing detailed execution schedules for simultaneous projects
• Establish baseline schedule: summary and detailed review of baseline durations, logic, resources, costs, cost curves, resource histograms.
• Review periodic CPM Updates, provide Primavera schedule comparison reports and detailed reviews.
• Perform Earned Value analysis reports, schedule change management and review of change orders.
• Perform time impact analyses (TIA) to determine the extent of the impacts of potential delays.
• Provide recommendations for schedule recovery. Recovery schedule reviews and perform what-if scenario analysis.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related discipline or equivalent years of construction scheduling experience.
• 12 years of experience in developing and managing construction schedules for large programs.
• Experienced with critical path method analysis/technique with Primavera.
• Project financial forecasting skills.
• Change Order Analysis, Time Impact Analysis, and Forensic Schedule Analysis.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working within large and challenging Client Programs with one or more project teams.
• Effective reporting and communication skills.
• Experience in preparing project reports and documentation.
• Building Construction and or project management experience
• Team player and Strong communication skills
