Job summary

Avera Medical Group in the United States seeks a dedicated clinic leader to oversee administrative and operational functions for the assigned region. The VP will ensure care aligns with regulatory standards and Catholic directives, while participating in strategic planning as part of the Administrative Council.

Leading a multidisciplinary team, the role focuses on physician relations, contract negotiations, recruitment, and developing clinic operations and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent/promotes Avera Medical Group during administrative meetings.
• Active role with clinic operation councils.
• Leads as a role model of leadership principles to foster communication and problem solving.
• Resolves medical-administrative problems and maintains morale and a professional clinic environment.
• Collaborates with CEO/CMO/CNO/AMG CAO for strategic and operational planning.
• Oversees development and operation of clinic activities through heads and staff.
• Advises clinic directors and managers regularly.
• Manages physician relations, policies, and compliance; financial performance and FTE control.
• Develops physician clinics and contracts; recruitment and locum management.
• Builds physician relationships across the region and ensures regulatory compliance.
