Job Summary

Newmark is seeking a Vice President, Client Solutions (Facilities Management) to lead and build Newmark's Facilities Management Solutions function, reporting to the Global Head of Client Solutions and working in close partnership with the Head of Facilities Management. This person is the client-facing leader and the face of FM when Newmark goes out to bid, and serves as the subject matter expert and strategic direction-setter for opportunities that are facilities management specific, as well as for the facilities management component of multi-service opportunities that include FM alongside other Newmark service lines.

This individual is accountable for the full arc of an FM pursuit, from the earliest conversations with sales professionals and clients about what the right solution should look like, through the formal proposal or RFP response, through presenting that solution to the prospect, including site walk-throughs and finalist presentations. On FM-specific opportunities, this person runs point on the entire pursuit. On multi-service opportunities, this person owns the FM portion of the overall solution and works in partnership with the solutions lead accountable for the full pursuit.

This is a build role as much as it is a leadership role. Facilities Management Solutions does not exist as a standalone function at Newmark today, and this person is expected to build it, starting hands-on across pricing, content, staffing, and client presentation, and shifting over time into leading and coaching a team as it comes on board. Even as that team grows, this person is expected to stay deeply versed in every part of the solution rather than settling into a purely directive role.

This person is also expected to use AI tools deliberately and consistently to improve the speed and quality of the pursuit process, from research and solution development through content drafting and review.

Responsibilities

Lead and build Newmark's Facilities Management Solutions function, operating initially in a hands-on capacity across pricing, content, staffing, and client presentation, and evolving into a team leadership role as the function grows.

Serve as the client-facing leader and face of Newmark's facilities management capability throughout the pursuit process, from initial qualification through submission of the formal response, partnering with sales professionals and clients to shape the right solution from the outset.

On multi-service opportunities, own the facilities management component of the solution and coordinate closely with the solutions lead responsible for the overall pursuit to ensure the FM piece integrates cleanly with the broader offering.

Develop and bring to leadership a clear recommendation for how Facilities Management Solutions should be structured and staffed to scale, grounded in hands-on experience running pursuits directly.

As that structure is approved, lead the hiring and development of the Facilities Management Solutions team, and transition over time from personally executing pursuit work to leading and coaching the team that does.

Partner closely with Newmark's pricing team on FM pricing, providing direct guidance and functioning as the FM subject matter expert behind the numbers.

Be fully prepared to walk clients and internal stakeholders through the logic behind the pricing and the broader solution, including how staffing, scope, and service levels drive the numbers.

Work hands-on with Solution Managers and writers on the development of pursuit deliverables, including proposals, RFP responses, executive summaries, and presentation content, personally shaping content where needed rather than only directing it.

Define win themes and solution narratives for FM and FM-inclusive pursuits, and ensure those narratives are grounded in what Newmark can actually deliver.

Present the proposed solution to prospects in partnership with sales professionals, including site walk-throughs, finalist presentations, and other client-facing pursuit meetings as appropriate.

Use AI-enabled research, writing, and productivity tools as a core part of the pursuit workflow, and ensure the Facilities Management Solutions team applies them to synthesize inputs, accelerate drafting, and improve the consistency and quality of deliverables as the team grows.

Work cross-functionally with operations, finance, sourcing, technology, and subject matter experts to pressure test that proposed FM solutions are commercially sound and deliverable as written.

Maintain awareness of facilities management market trends, competitive positioning, and evolving occupier expectations, and apply that awareness to how Newmark's FM solutions are built and positioned.

May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.

8-12+ years of experience in facilities management, integrated facilities management, occupier solutions, business development, consulting, or a related client-facing solutions role.

Deep, credible expertise in facilities management service delivery, including staffing models, KPI and governance frameworks, transition planning, and pricing structures for FM engagements, sufficient to guide and defend that work directly.

Demonstrated experience building or standing up a new function, team, or practice area, including defining what the function needs to scale and hiring into it over time.

Genuine willingness to operate hands-on and function, at least initially, as an individual contributor across pricing, content, and staffing, even at a senior level, rather than only directing others.

Comfort operating with ambiguity in a function that does not yet have an established process, tools, or team, and working to build both a scalable solution and the team behind it.

Demonstrated ability to own a pursuit end to end at a strategic and client-facing level, from early solution shaping through formal proposal development and client presentation.

Proven ability to work as one piece of a larger, multi-service solution, coordinating effectively with a lead solutions owner on complex, cross-service pursuits.

Strong, confident presence presenting directly to prospective clients, including in site walk-through and finalist presentation settings, in partnership with sales professionals.

Strong understanding of how to apply AI-enabled tools to research, drafting, and pursuit workflow efficiency.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex FM concepts into clear, compelling client-facing language.

Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills, with the ability to run multiple concurrent pursuits personally today and lead a growing team through the same in the future.

High level of executive presence, professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Ability to travel as needed in support of client meetings, site walk-throughs, and pursuit activity.

Salary Range Language
