Overview
We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Business Technology Liaison to join our Asset Servicing team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA - HYBRID.
Responsibilities include:
- Identify Needs / Requirements via Elicitation & Collaboration with stakeholders.
- Define and Communicate Requirements in a standardised and consistent format (JIRA), including development of acceptance criteria using Gherkin syntax.
- Model Requirements (where applicable), manage Requirements / Requirements Backlog, and provide relevant reporting and metrics to enable transparency.
- Support roadmap / project development, planning, and reporting.
- Transfer knowledge to upskill the agile/product team across business, technical, or other areas.
- Participate actively in relevant scrum / technical development meetings.
- Support capture and maintenance of relevant documentation outside of JIRA.
- Assist in scoping and prioritisation of the backlog.
Desired Skills / Knowledge:
- Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies (Agile preferred).
- Project Management using JIRA & Confluence.
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint; Business Analytics using Power BI & Tableau.
- Understanding of business data models in the custody domain.
- Data cleanup and processing tools like Xceptor.
- Understanding of data exchange formats like JSON.
- Knowledge of Investment Banking operations and Asset Servicing business.
- Custody Product Knowledge, including Data Architecture, Corporate Actions, Stock Record management, Trade Settlement, Instruction processing, SWIFT.
- Conflict and Stakeholder Management skills, with experience managing senior stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in business management or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in Project / Product delivery, preferably in Agile environments.
