Job description

Overview


We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Business Technology Liaison to join our Asset Servicing team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA - HYBRID.


Responsibilities include:

  1. Identify Needs / Requirements via Elicitation & Collaboration with stakeholders.
  2. Define and Communicate Requirements in a standardised and consistent format (JIRA), including development of acceptance criteria using Gherkin syntax.
  3. Model Requirements (where applicable), manage Requirements / Requirements Backlog, and provide relevant reporting and metrics to enable transparency.
  4. Support roadmap / project development, planning, and reporting.
  5. Transfer knowledge to upskill the agile/product team across business, technical, or other areas.
  6. Participate actively in relevant scrum / technical development meetings.
  7. Support capture and maintenance of relevant documentation outside of JIRA.
  8. Assist in scoping and prioritisation of the backlog.

Desired Skills / Knowledge:

  1. Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies (Agile preferred).
  2. Project Management using JIRA & Confluence.
  3. Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint; Business Analytics using Power BI & Tableau.
  4. Understanding of business data models in the custody domain.
  5. Data cleanup and processing tools like Xceptor.
  6. Understanding of data exchange formats like JSON.
  7. Knowledge of Investment Banking operations and Asset Servicing business.
  8. Custody Product Knowledge, including Data Architecture, Corporate Actions, Stock Record management, Trade Settlement, Instruction processing, SWIFT.
  9. Conflict and Stakeholder Management skills, with experience managing senior stakeholders.
  10. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  11. Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in business management or related field, or equivalent experience.
  12. 5-7 years of experience in Project / Product delivery, preferably in Agile environments.
