Job summary

CORY is seeking a strategic, results-driven VP of Asset Management to lead performance across a growing national multifamily portfolio from Brooklyn, NY. You will report directly to the CEO and guide asset-level strategies, budgeting, and capital planning.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in real estate asset management, senior leadership experience, and strong financial modeling (Excel/ARGUS) with familiarity in Yardi or RealPage.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of real estate asset management experience
• 5+ years in a senior or supervisory role
• Conventional multifamily experience; multi-market U.S. experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Set asset-level business plans including hold/sell, repositioning and value-add strategies
• Own budgets, reforecasts and long-range projections to drive NOI and cash flow
• Lead property management teams to meet leasing, pricing and expense targets
• Underwrite and manage capital projects, renovations and unit upgrades
• Partner with Capital Markets on refinancings and lender reporting
• Support acquisitions/dispositions through diligence and underwriting
• Prepare investor and lender reporting
• Lead and develop a team of two Asset Managers

CORY is hiring a strategic, results-driven VP of Asset Management in Brooklyn, NY. This is a unique opportunity to report directly to the CEO and drive performance across a growing national multifamily portfolio.

About Our Client:

Our client is a vertically integrated real estate investment and management platform that acquires, repositions, and operates conventional multifamily properties nationwide.

Your Responsibilities:

• Set asset-level business plans, including hold/sell, repositioning, and value-add strategies
• Own budgets, reforecasts, and long-range projections to drive NOI and cash flow
• Hold property management teams accountable to leasing, pricing, and expense targets
• Underwrite and manage capital projects, renovations, and unit upgrades
• Partner with Capital Markets on refinancings, debt compliance, and lender reporting
• Support acquisitions and dispositions through diligence, underwriting, and transition
• Prepare investor, ownership, and lender reporting
• Lead and develop a team of two Asset Managers

The Skills and Experience You Bring:

• 10+ years of real estate asset management, including 5+ in a senior or supervisory role
• Conventional multifamily experience required; multi-market U.S. experience strongly preferred
• Advanced financial modeling and underwriting skills (Excel/ARGUS); Yardi or RealPage experience
• Working knowledge of debt structures, loan covenants, and JV reporting
• Strong communicator who can present and influence at the CEO and ownership level
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or related field; MBA or CFA a plus
