Citi is seeking an Application Development Lead - Vice President to drive development for the Product Processor Technology area in Pune. You will translate business requirements into technical designs, mentor developers, and coordinate with global teams to ensure timely delivery across the SDLC.

The role requires deep experience in Java, SQL, and financial domain knowledge, with strong leadership and communication skills to manage multi-disciplinary teams in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 13+ years of software development experience.
• 10+ years of Sybase/MS-SQL/PLSQL programming experience.
• 5+ years of Java experience and design principles.
• 5+ years in financial domain knowledge.
• Strong Linux/Unix and shell scripting skills.
• Proficiency with SQL tuning, stored procedures, and data migration expertise.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical designs and lead the development team.
• Collaborate with Pune, US/UK teams supporting OAFIN in Product Processor Departments.
• Maintain project plans and SDLC documentation; oversee SIT/UAT handover.
