For our client, we are seeking a Vice President, AI Workforce Transformation Leader to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This leader will shape the enterprise vision for AI-enabled job redesign and workforce transformation in a complex, highly regulated environment. The role will guide how people and AI work together, translating strategy into practical operating models, governance, and change adoption across the organization. It will also partner closely with senior leadership, HR, risk, and business teams to build new organizational structures, roles, and capability frameworks that support the future of work.
Location: Newark, NJ - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $205,600 – $308,300 annually
Responsibilities
- Shape and champion the vision for AI-enabled job redesign across the organization
- Develop and implement a roadmap for organizational redesign, translating strategy into actionable frameworks
- Define principles for human-AI collaboration to guide workforce planning and leadership expectations
- Design the operational model for human-agent collaboration, including work delegation between humans and AI
- Lead workforce strategy for agentic AI adoption, defining new roles and accountability frameworks
- Design agile organizational structures to enhance collaboration and speed adoption of AI-driven work models
- Oversee governance for AI initiatives, ensuring compliance and integration of risk management into the transformation process
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Proven experience leading workforce strategy and large-scale transformation in complex environments
- Expertise in job redesign, organizational model transformation, and human-AI teaming
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and their implications for roles and culture
- Track record of driving high-impact change and guiding organizations through ambiguity
- Experience developing talent architectures and career paths that integrate people and technology
- Skilled in designing enterprise change management strategies to build psychological safety
