Job summary

ZRG NextCap Group in New York City seeks a Vice President to join its Business Services practice. You will structure and manage execution of sell-side and buy-side mergers and acquisitions, support deal origination, and advise clients on strategic alternatives.

The role requires at least seven years in investment banking with strong M&A experience; you will lead deal teams, oversee junior bankers, and help win mandates within a premier Wall Street platform.

Qualifications

The firm is currently looking for a Vice President to join their Business Services practice in New York City.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Structure and manage execution of sell-side and buy-side mergers and acquisitions
• Support deal origination and client relationship management activities
• Analyze industry trends, competitive landscape and market dynamics to advise clients on strategic alternatives and potential buyers
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis involving financial, market and investment data and utilize financial research tools, products and systems in order to develop financial models and make informed business decisions

QUALIFICATIONS

• We will only consider applicants with a minimum of 7 years of investment banking experience
• Strong M&A experience required
• Must be willing to ‘roll up your sleeves’ and dig into transaction details as required
• Ability to lead and oversee the execution of client engagements and deals
• Manage and develop junior bankers in the group
