Job description

Vice President, Communications (Integrated) — New York

Clarity is a B-Corp Certified global digital marketing and communications agency. We empower visionary technology companies to change the world for the better by bringing clarity through ideas, influence, and impact.

We’re technology experts and specialists in corporate communications, reputation management, public affairs, digital marketing, and digital experience. With a footprint across EMEA, North America and APAC, we run international campaigns that deliver global influence with a local perspective.

The opportunity

We’re hiring a Vice President in New York to lead flagship, integrated communications programs for category‑defining technology brands—and to help power our next phase of growth. You will own executive‑level client strategy and outcomes across earned, owned, and paid, while supporting new business efforts.

You’ll also institutionalize innovation—from data‑driven planning to responsible GenAI workflows—that scales creativity, efficiency, and measurable impact.

You are a visionary, tech‑forward strategist and trusted C‑suite counselor with a track record of building long‑term, high‑value relationships and delivering business results. Equally fluent in B2B and B2C, you turn complex challenges into simple, integrated programs that move markets. You’ll inspire and develop diverse teams, ensure the right structure and resourcing for excellence, and model an inclusive, collaborative culture that connects our US, EMEA, and APAC teams. If you thrive on winning the room, growing accounts, and setting a new bar for performance communications, this role is for you.

What you’ll lead
  • Client leadership: Serve as primary senior counsel to flagship accounts; translate business strategy into integrated comms that move markets and support commercial goals.
  • Integrated campaigns: Architect and oversee sophisticated, multi‑channel programs (corporate reputation, exec visibility, product comms, content, digital/social, paid amplification) with clear KPIs and measurement plans.
  • Crisis & issues: Lead preparedness and active response (executive misconduct, security incidents, policy changes, product recalls); train spokespeople and war‑room teams.
  • Data, analytics & performance: Embed measurement frameworks (SOV, sentiment, funnel contribution, brand lift); champion experimentation and performance comms.
  • AI leadership: Institutionalize responsible GenAI—workflow design, enablement, governance, and vendor/tooling strategy—to drive efficiency and creativity.
  • Team & culture: Inspire and develop diverse, high‑performing teams; ensure the right structure, resourcing, and cross‑region collaboration for seamless delivery.
  • Thought leadership: Represent Clarity in the market; publish POVs, speak at events, and cultivate senior media/analyst relationships.
What you’ll bring
  • 12–15+ years in integrated communications within agency environments leading complex, multi‑market programs for technology brands.
  • Track record of growing key accounts, hitting revenue and margin targets, and leading teams of managers/directors.
  • Credible C‑suite advisor with deep corporate comms, media strategy, and crisis/issues experience.
  • Strong command of digital and social content strategy, paid amplification, and analytics/attribution.
  • Proven application of GenAI across planning, content ops, insights, and measurement; advocate for ethical, transparent AI use.
  • Global mindset and ability to operate across time zones and cultures.
  • Inclusive leadership that develops talent and fosters psychological safety.
