Job summary

University of Colorado Denver seeks an Associate Vice Chancellor for Faculty Affairs and Professional Development to provide strategic leadership for faculty affairs, development, and academic culture across the campus. The role reports to the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and leads policies, onboarding, and tenure processes.

Qualifications

Earned doctorate from an accredited institution.
Seven+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience in higher education.
Demonstrated expertise in faculty personnel policies and governance.
Experience leading faculty development and institutional initiatives.

Responsibilities

Provide institutional leadership for faculty affairs and academic personnel strategy across the faculty lifecycle.
Lead recruitment, onboarding, evaluation, promotion/tenure processes and faculty development initiatives.
Advise Provost and deans on complex faculty personnel matters and governance.
Foster an inclusive, high-performing academic culture aligned with institutional priorities.
