The rigorous curriculum features courses addressing the chemistry and physics of anesthesia, advanced pharmacology, advanced physiology and pathophysiology, basic-to-advanced principles of anesthesia care, anesthesia technology, team training, patient safety, and the professional role.
This full-time, tenure- or appointment-stream faculty position can be appointed at the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor rank. The overall function of the Vice Chair of Administration is to support the department chair and oversee the teaching mission of the Department of Nurse Anesthesia
