Role Description and Responsibilities

SIMULIA, Dassault SYSTEMES' leading brand for advanced simulation software, is seeking a highly motivated Vibro-Acoustic Business Development Engineer to join our team.

You will be part of a global team of vibro-acoustic experts developing, promoting, and supporting next-generation noise and vibration simulation software. Working closely with our expanding client base, you will leverage your expertise in business development and vibro-acoustics to expand the use of innovative vibro-acoustic simulation methods across various applications, helping solve complex client challenges. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence how noise and vibration are simulated worldwide.

The challenges ahead:
  1. Utilize your knowledge of business development and vibro-acoustics to collaborate with our technical and sales teams in the Americas to identify prospects, qualify opportunities, grow sales pipelines, and increase revenue.
  2. Build relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to clients, diagnosing requirements, understanding applications, and ensuring client success.
  3. Communicate effectively to articulate benefits and value across diverse industries and applications.
  4. Leverage your technical expertise to interpret client feedback and facilitate agile communication with field and R&D teams.
  5. Coordinate with global technical teams to understand new methods and applications, replicating successes from other regions.
  6. Assist in managing the Go-To-Market messaging for wave6 alongside sales and technical teams.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
  • Masters or PhD, preferably in acoustics and vibration.
  • Experience in business development, sales, and marketing.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Location flexible within the US.

Note: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, with an expected range of $137,000 to $180,000, including base salary and target bonus.
