Job summary

K+S Services in Taylor, Michigan, is seeking a Vibration Technician to join our team. You will test and analyze precision spindles, ensuring vibration levels stay within tolerance and preparing run-offs for finished products.

You will analyze fault frequencies, perform field balancing, and may travel to customer sites for on-site analysis. On-the-job training is provided; compensation reflects experience and benefits.

Qualifications

• Certified in vibration analysis; two years of experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Emerson CSI 2120/2130/2140 preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring devices.
• Knowledge of bearing assemblies; servo spindle drives a plus.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and independent work skills.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Test and analyze spindles with senior technician to keep vibration within tolerance.
• Analyze vibration data to determine bearing fault frequencies.
• Perform field balancing as needed.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites for on-site vibration analysis.
