Job summary

SKF in Blue Bell, PA is seeking a Reliability Technician to monitor and analyze mechanical vibrations of machinery, predicting maintenance needs and advising on optimal solutions.

The role requires a strong background in vibration analysis, certification as a Vibration Analyst, and the ability to communicate findings to customers and internal teams. Located on-site with opportunities in advanced condition monitoring.

Qualifications

• Mechanical/Electrical background with a strong understanding of machinery.
• Certification as a Vibration Analyst
• Proficiency in using vibration analysis software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills for reporting and team collaboration.
• Certified in other Condition Monitoring Technologies (Infrared, Ultrasound, Motion Amplification & Balancing) Preferred
• Strong in Microsoft Office 365 applications and other computer tools
• Proven experience in condition monitoring or a related industry preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform routine data collection on machinery using vibration analysis tools.
• Analyze vibration data to identify patterns and anomalies indicative of machine health.
• Provide detailed reports on findings and recommend maintenance actions.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Proven experience including certification or equivalent with machinery vibration analysis of at least an ISO Category II
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols during all activities.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in vibration analysis
• Present and demonstrate technology products and services to prospective clients
• Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements
