Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Vibration Simulation / FEA Engineer to support advanced battery simulation, structural validation, and durability assessment. The role focuses on FEA, vibration simulation, modal and dynamic analysis to predict behavior and improve reliability.

The engineer will collaborate with design, test, reliability, and product development teams to translate requirements into accurate models, correlate with physical tests, and deliver actionable optimization recommendations for

Qualifications

3+ years of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience.
Experience with modal analysis and dynamic analysis.
Proficiency in nonlinear FEA and fatigue analysis.
Experience with Ansys, Abaqus, HyperMesh, Optistruct, and nCode.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute FEA simulations for structural and vibration performance of components and systems.
Perform modal analysis to predict natural frequencies and mode shapes.
Conduct dynamic simulations (frequency, random, harmonic, transient, shock) per product requirements.
Correlate simulation results with test data and provide design recommendations.
Develop, maintain, and release FEA models, loading criteria, and technical documentation.
