• Support infrared thermography, ultrasonic inspections, lubrication analysis, laser shaft alignment, and precision field balancing as assignments allow.

Vibration Analyst / Industrial Reliability Technician

Pay range: $85,000-$100,000 annually

Rotating Equipment Specialists, LLC (RES) is hiring a trained Vibration Analyst / Industrial Reliability Technician to support industrial operations in Apple Grove, West Virginia.

We're looking for someone who already knows how to collect quality vibration data, recognize developing machinery problems, and communicate useful findings. You'll work with rotating equipment such as motors, pumps, fans, bearings, and gearboxes while helping the customer address problems before they lead to equipment failure or unplanned downtime.

What You’ll Do

• Collect and analyze vibration data using portable and condition-monitoring systems
• Identify and investigate machinery issues such as imbalance, misalignment, looseness, and bearing defects
• Document findings and provide clear, practical recommendations
• Track equipment condition and follow up on developing problems
• Communicate findings with RES team members and customer personnel
• Support infrared thermography, ultrasonic inspections, lubrication analysis, laser shaft alignment, and precision field balancing as your skills and assignments allow
• Follow site safety procedures and maintain accurate equipment records

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on training and experience in vibration data collection and analysis
• The ability to recognize common rotating equipment faults and explain your findings clearly
• Experience working around industrial machinery
• Strong attention to detail and sound troubleshooting skills
• The ability to organize your work and perform routine assignments independently
• Professional communication and a dependable, safety-focused approach
• Comfort using diagnostic instruments, software, and written reports
• A valid driver's license

Vibration analysis certification is preferred. Experience with infrared, ultrasound, alignment, balancing, or continuous condition monitoring is a plus.

This is a hands-on industrial role. It involves extended periods of walking and standing, climbing stairs and ladders, working around operating machinery, wearing required PPE, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
