Vertical Aerospace is seeking a Vibroacoustic Engineer to drive the operational vibration qualification of Valo systems. You'll work on managing vibroacoustic models and analyzing vibration data to ensure safe engineering decisions.
The ideal candidate has a solid background in structural dynamics, experience with vibration testing, and a pragmatic approach to engineering problems. In addition to a fulfilling role, the position offers various benefits, including 26 days of holiday and a performance-based bonus.
As a Vibroacoustic engineer, you’ll play a key role in understanding how Valo behaves in real‑world vibration and acoustic environments. You’ll define and support DO‑160‑like operational vibration qualification, manage vibroacoustic models, and work closely with Flight Physics, test, certification, systems, and supplier teams to turn complex data into practical engineering decisions. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys structural dynamics, vibration testing, and working with imperfect data to solve meaningful aircraft development challenges.
We encourage you to apply even if you may not have all the experience listed in the advert. We recognise that talent comes in various forms and we are committed to providing opportunities that create an environment of growth, diversity, and inclusion for everyone. As part of our desire to review and make our processes fair, we may ask you questions related to these aspects during the application process.
