Job summary

Copper River Grill LLC in Georgetown, SC is seeking a friendly Bartender to join our bar team. You will craft premium beverages, greet guests, and work closely with servers to ensure seamless service.

You will use Focus, Aloha, or Micros POS systems to take orders and process transactions, upsell cocktails and wines, and maintain beverage quality and cleanliness in a busy, lively casual-dining environment.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or restaurant experience in high-volume casual or fine dining.
• Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Strong customer service skills to engage bar guests warmly and professionally.
• Excellent time management to handle busy hours.
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions.
• Extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, craft beer, and upselling.

Responsibilities

• Greeting bar guests warmly and presenting menus with enthusiasm, offering recommendations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Focus, Aloha, or Micros.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Upsell menu items like signature cocktails, premium wines, craft beers, or desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and sales.
• Recipe adherence for all craft cocktails, mixes, and garnishes to ensure consistency.
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handling cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Ensure proper food handling, alcohol sanitation, and safety procedures are always followed, including checking guest IDs.
• Assist with stocking ice, prepping garnishes, washing glassware, and maintaining cleanliness in the bar area to support smooth operations.
