Job summary

Ford's Garage is seeking a personable Host/Hostess (Vibe Setter) to greet guests, manage seating, answer phones, take reservations, and ensure a welcoming first impression. You will drive smooth guest flow, handle call-ahead seating, and maintain knowledge of promotions to upsell experiences.

Responsibilities include coordinating wait lists, guiding guests through dining, and delivering exceptional service as the face of the brand in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food/alcohol certification, as required by state law
• Able to stand for 10 hours and lift at least 50 pounds
• Good hearing for safety and accurate communication
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English
• Must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Being the welcome face of our restaurant by giving a positive and uplifting first and last impression to our guests, both in person and on the phone
• Providing our guests with the highest level of service standards to create new and repeat business.
• Facilitate top-notch service in the restaurant with accurate communication with wait list quotes and efficient flow of guests through their dining experience.
• Being knowledgeable of all brand-related restaurant information, e.g. happy hour details or limited time offers
