Job summary

A manufacturing company in Louisville is seeking a V-Hole Operator to proficiently operate and maintain V-Hole equipment and ensure product quality. Responsibilities include transferring materials, inspecting products, and performing cleaning and maintenance procedures. Candidates should possess a High School diploma or GED and at least one year of manufacturing experience. This position requires the ability to withstand noisy and sometimes hazardous conditions while handling heavy objects. Safety equipment must be worn as required.

Job description

V-Hole Operator

General Function: Proficiently operate and maintain the V-Hole equipment.

Duties:

1. Transfer and load materials to/from V-Hole machine.
2. Process and inspect products in conformance with both verbal and written instruction.
3. Perform machine specific cleaning procedures.
4. Assist maintenance department in performing machine specific preventive maintenance.
5. Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
6. Participate in setup and machine changeover when needed.

Working Conditions:

Works inside plant where there is a great deal of noise. The work may be dusty, dirty and greasy. May handle sharp edged metal and be exposed to chemicals used in oil.

Physical Effort:

Works on a hard surface; stands, stoops, bends and lifts heavy objects weighing 35-50 pounds.

Safety Equipment:

Wears safety shoes, glasses, gloves and ear plugs where required.

Qualification Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.
• One (1) year experience in manufacturing environment.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Three (3) years or more manufacturing experience in VHole processes.
