V-Hole Operator

General Function: Proficiently operate and maintain the V-Hole equipment.

Duties

• Transfer and load materials to/from V-Hole machine.
• Process and inspect products in conformance with both verbal and written instruction.
• Perform machine specific cleaning procedures.
• Assist maintenance department in performing machine specific preventive maintenance.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Participate in setup and machine changeover when needed.

Working Conditions: Works inside plant where there is a great deal of noise. The work may be dusty, dirty and greasy. May handle sharp edged metal and be exposed to chemicals used in oil.

Physical Effort: Works on a hard surface; stands, stoops, bends and lifts heavy objects weighing 35-50 pounds.

Safety Equipment: Wears safety shoes, glasses, gloves and ear plugs where required.

Qualification Requirements: High School diploma or GED; One (1) year experience in manufacturing environment.

Additional Preferred Qualifications: Three (3) years or more manufacturing experience in VHole processes.
