Job summary

Probity Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer with active Top Secret/SCI clearance to join a multidisciplinary team supporting data acquisition, engineering, and program management tasks.

You will work across data engineering, software engineering, security engineering, DevOps, and data science efforts to deliver secure, scalable solutions. You will communicate across organizational boundaries, collaborating with Customer staff and external partners while maintaining strict clearance requirements and

Qualifications

• Cloud infrastructure and data management experience.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, and MacOS environments.
• Experience with cloud environments, including AWS.
• Experience with AWS, Hadoop, Cloudera, Spark, Presto, SQL and NoSQL.
• Experience conducting data processing activities.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience building executing ETL pipelines.
• Experience with integrating data flows with industry standard systems such as Niagara Falls.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and be a proactive problem solver.
• Experience providing clear and concise communications for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Position Description:

Position within a team supporting the customer with data engineering and operations, software engineering, security engineering, DevOps engineering, application development, data science, and program management in support of data acquisition, exploitation, engineering, and management tasks. Communicate and collaborate across organizational boundaries, to include other contractor teams, Customer staff and external stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills:

• Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructure and data management.
• Demonstrated experience with multiple OS environments including Windows, Linux, and MacOS.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud environments, including AWS.
• Demonstrated experience with development environments including AWS, Hadoop distributed file system (HDFS), Cloudera, Spark, Presto, SQL, and NoSQL.
• Demonstrated experience conducting data processing activities.
• Experience working with Python
• Demonstrated experience building executing ETL pipelines
• Demonstrated experience with integrating data flows with industry standard systems such as Niagra Falls
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and be a proactive problem solver
• Experience providing clear and concise communications for both technical and non-technical audiences

Optional Skills:

• Knowledge of targeting workflows, tools and environments
• Experience with Large Language Models and agentic workflows.
• Experience with graphical databases such as Neo4J
