Job summary

Activision Publishing Inc. is offering a 12-week VFX internship starting mid-May or mid-June 2027, with in-person requirements for U.S. locations.

Hosting managers will determine office or on-site work frequency. Relocation services and a living stipend help interns manage housing and related costs during the program. As a VFX Intern, you’ll help design dynamic effects for Call of Duty using real-time pipelines, collaborating with artists and engineers on next-gen platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience creating real-time VFX simulations using Maya, 3ds Max, or in-game FX editors.
• Familiarity with Unreal, Unity, or proprietary game engines.
• Strong understanding of particle systems, shaders, dynamics, and 3D fundamentals.
• Experience with Houdini or Photoshop is a plus.
• A portfolio/reel that showcases real-time, photoreal visual effects is required.
